Good afternoon Candor Family, 
This is Mr. Matthews with your weekly reminders for May 19th-23rd. 
 -The After School program will run Monday- Thursday this week with bus transportation provided.  There will be no afterschool program on Friday, May 23rd, 2025. 
-Monday, May 26th is our Memorial Day Holiday. There will be no school for staff and students. 
All candy money from our World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser must be submitted by Friday, May 23rd. Any outstanding money owed will be added to your student's fees. 
-Parents in order for your child to participate in all EOY activities including field day, and award/promotion ceremonies, the school fees must be paid in full or reduced by 25% no later than Wednesday,  May 28th. Students in grades 3-5 must complete all of their EOG assessments prior to participating in any end of year activities. EOGS will run from Wednesday, May 28th- Friday, May 30th. Students who have not completed their EOGs will not be allowed to participate until they are completed.  Contact our office at (910) 974-4582  if you have any questions. 
-The following End of Grade Exams will be taken between Wednesday, May 28th and Friday, May 30th. 
----3-5 Reading on Wednesday, May 28th, 
----3-5 Math on Thursday, May 29th
----5th Grade Science and 3rd Grade RTA on Friday, May 30th. 
-Parents please support us on those days by ensuring your child gets a good night sleep the night before and is on time each day.
